AI website builder (hotel vertical)
Sitified vs Appy Pie
Appy Pie is the one rival that can take a room booking. The catch: it writes your rooms from a one-line prompt, syncs no live rates, and costs $36 to $60 a month. Sitified starts from your real reviews and live Effective Tours rates, for $10.
A no-code platform with a dedicated AI hotel-website vertical. It genuinely takes room bookings, with dates, nightly rates and a Stripe deposit. But it doesn't sync live rates to any channel manager, and it writes your rooms from a one-line prompt, not your real listing.

Feature by feature
The 11 things that decide whether a hotel website wins direct bookings, and how each product handles them.
| Criterion | Sitified | Appy Pie |
|---|---|---|
| Page load speedHow fast your site loads on a phone. Measured with Google's own yardstick, Core Web Vitals: main content up within 2.5 seconds. | Pre-built HTML served from a CDN. There's no page-builder code to download before your photos appear, which is the usual reason a builder site fails Core Web Vitals.[S3] | Claims a global CDN and sub-1-second loads, but that's self-reported. We couldn't find a live customer site to test it against.[1] |
| Responsive designLooks and works right on phone, tablet and desktop, where most guests actually browse. | A responsive, per-hotel design system. Every layout is built to work from phone to desktop. | Markets mobile-responsive rooms and pages. Plausible, not independently tested.[1] |
| What it costs, all inThe real price. Most builders quote a low number, then charge again for hosting, booking and the add-ons you actually need. | $10/month, all-in. Hosting, content, live rates and the booking engine are in the one price. Your card processor still takes its own cut, as it does everywhere. | $36–$60/mo, hosting and domain included, but no tier sized for one small hotel. That's 3.6–6× Sitified's $10.[2] |
| Who writes the contentWho writes the words and picks the photos. Most tools hand you an empty template to fill in yourself. | Your site arrives written. We read your real reviews, amenities and photos, then write every page and every room from them. You start from a finished site, not a blank page. | Rooms, rates and amenities are generated from a one-line brief you type, not from your real listing, reviews or photos.[1] |
| Who keeps it up to dateWhen search rules change or a new page type ships, does it reach your site on its own, or does someone have to go and do it? | Because we host your site, SEO improvements, new sections and fixes reach it automatically. No admin, no plugin updates. | Manual edits in the drag-and-drop editor. No automatic content refresh.[1] |
| Live rates and direct bookingCan a guest pick real dates, see your real price and book on your own site, without you paying an OTA commission? | Open-API channel-manager integration. Your rooms, rates and availability come from Effective Tours, so the guest books with you, not with Booking.com.[S1] | It does take direct bookings (dates, nightly rate, Stripe deposit). But rates aren't live: its own table lists Booking.com/Expedia sync as “Manual + iCal”, so you keep availability in step by hand.[1] |
| Payment providersCan you connect your own payment account, or are you locked into the platform's own processor and its cut? | Connect your own account from 150+ payment providers. No proprietary lock-in, no forced processor.[S2] | Stripe Connect, PayPal and Razorpay, managed by Appy Pie rather than fully bring-your-own.[1] |
| Social-media managementCan you write and schedule posts to Instagram or Facebook from the same tool that runs your site? | Not yet. It's being built, and we'd rather say that than pretend. | “Advanced Social Media” post-scheduling is bundled on both plans.[2] |
| Keeping the words freshDoes someone keep rewriting your copy as the hotel changes, or does the site slowly go stale? | A content-refresh subscription on top of the $10. We rewrite your copy as the hotel changes, in all your languages, so you never hire a copywriter. | No managed content-refresh service; the 2× add-on buys white-labeling and an account manager, not content.[2] |
| Languages, built inMulti-language for international guests, included rather than a paid add-on plugin. | Any language, with up to 10 live on the site at once. The list isn't fixed: ask for Portuguese and Spanish and we add them. Each gets its own pages and URLs, so search engines index them properly, and you can edit any of it. | No language feature on the website builder at all. Appy Pie's auto-translation product is for its mobile-app builder, a different product line.[1] |
| SEO, done for youSearch-engine structure and metadata, handled for you rather than a separate plugin to configure. | SEO is wired in, not a plugin you configure. Sitemap, hreflang for every language, and structured data for the hotel and each room. | Hotel and LocalBusiness schema, Open Graph and sitemap submission, bundled as “Automatic SEO”.[1] |

Why hoteliers choose Sitified over Appy Pie
- 01
Appy Pie can take a booking, and that's real. But it builds your rooms from a sentence you type, not from your actual reviews and photos. Sitified starts from your real listing.
- 02
No live rates. Appy Pie's own table says Booking.com and Expedia sync are “Manual + iCal”, so you match availability by hand. Sitified reads live rates from Effective Tours.
- 03
$36 to $60 a month versus $10. Same job, a third of the price, and the content and rates are done for you.
- 04
Both give you a bookable site. Only one is built from your hotel's real reviews and keeps its rates live.
What Appy Pie does better
No product wins on everything. These are the places Appy Pie has us beaten.
It builds mobile apps too, not just websites. If you want a branded guest app as well, that's the same account.
White-labeling is available, which matters if you manage several properties or resell to owners.
Its social post-scheduling is bundled and live. Ours is still coming.
In fairness — Credit where it's due: Appy Pie is the only builder here with a genuinely working hotel booking engine, real dates, nightly rates, a Stripe deposit, in about a minute, no code. Its platform reputation is strong too (G2 4.7, Trustpilot 4.6). For a small property that just wants to cut OTA commission and doesn't need live channel sync, it's a fair option.
